Installing your OJ EDITION ONE.

Important Notice:

For safety and compliance reasons, please have this steering wheel installed by a professional mechanic.

Step 1: Disconnect the Battery (MANDATORY)

Turn the ignition OFF.

Open the bonnet.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal (10mm socket).

Wait at least 10–15 minutes before touching the airbag.

This allows stored SRS power to fully discharge.

Step 2: Remove the Airbag Module

Turn the steering wheel 90° left to expose one rear access holes.

Insert the screwdriver into each left - right - bottom hole and push the spring clip inward (toward the centre of the wheel).

You’re basically compressing the metal clip so it lets go of the airbag tab.

While holding pressure on the clip, use your other hand to gently pull that side of the airbag module forward a few millimetres.

Don’t yank — it should “pop” loose.

Step 3: Remove Steering Wheel

Use a marker to mark the shaft alignment.

Loosen the 17mm centre nut (do not fully remove yet).

Wiggle the wheel free from the spline.

Remove the nut and lift the wheel off cleanly.

Step 4: Re-install Steering Wheel

  1. Confirm the clockspring has not rotated.
  2. Align the wheel using your shaft marks.
  3. Slide the wheel fully onto the spline.
  4. Install the centre nut.

Torque Spec:
